Natural Hair Conditioner

There are so many toiletry products on the market that we can choose from. So many choices means a lot of chemicals and even more plastic. Making conditioner at home is a great way to use our earth’s natural ingredients and keep our environment plastic free.

Buttermilk is a great organic source to use and your hair will thank you for it in the long run. Blow-drying your hair daily (not to mention straightening) will dry out your hair and buttermilk is a good nourishing source.

Home made deep conditioning treatments can reduce your carbon footprint, increase your savings and make your hair naturally healthy. Hair salons tend to use tonnes of water, chemicals and energy to wash and clean your hair- so why not try and do it yourself?

This natural toiletry product should be left on the hair for at least 30 minutes and then rinsed thoroughly using warm water.

Buttermilk Hair Conditioner:

Ingredients- ½ cup organic buttermilk, 1 cup plain organic yoghurt, 1 organic egg yolk,1 tsp raw coconut oil

Method-
1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and apply it to your scalp.

2. Let it sit for at least half an hour and rinse.
